Dear Parent/Carer,
Subject: Latest Year 11 Mock Examination Results – Collection and Release Schedule
We would like to begin by extending our sincere thanks for the fantastic support you provided your child during the recent series of mock examinations. Your encouragement in ensuring they were prepared and focused was vital to the smooth running of the exam period.
We are now preparing to release the mock results, and we want to ensure all students and parents understand the process and key dates.
Mock Results – How They Will Be Issued
Mock results will be shared with students and parents across the following days and platforms:
Thursday 11th December: In-Person Collection
● Time: 5:45 PM – 6:30 PM
● Location: Main reception
● Details: Parents and students are invited to collect the results together. This event is specifically designed to replicate the anticipation and experience students will face in August when collecting their real GCSE results.
Friday 12th December: Whole-Cohort Assembly
● I will deliver a MAS11 assembly to talk the students through the overall outcomes of the mocks and explain what these results mean for their progress and remaining revision timeline.
Monday 15th December: Online Release
● Results will be officially available on the Student Portal for students and on MCAS (My Child At School) for parents and carers.
● These mock results are a crucial step in preparing for the summer. They clearly identify areas of strength and areas where immediate, targeted revision is needed.
We strongly encourage all students to continue their revision “little and often” throughout the coming months. Consistent, focused effort, rather than last-minute cramming, is the most effective strategy to ensure they achieve their very best results in the final GCSE examinations.
We look forward to seeing you at the results collection evening on Thursday 11th December.
Yours sincerely,
Mr M. Stamato
