NOTIFICATION OF SCHOOL VISIT
Title of Visit: Paris Residential
Date of Visit: Thursday 12th – Saturday 14th November 2026
Students Involved: Current Year 10 Photography students
Destination: Paris
Travel Details: Meet at Paddock Wood station on Thursday 12th at 6.45am. Return 9pm at Paddock Wood train station on Saturday 14th November
Purpose of visit: To visit Paris Photo Festival so that students can see contemporary photography and the work of well known and established photographers.
Nature of activities: Students will explore the Paris Photo Festival and Musee d’Art de Paris. They will also be given a walking art tour of Paris, a boat trip and a visit to the Eiffel tower.
Cost and payment: The cost is £695. This will include:
- Two nights in a hotel with breakfast provided.
- Cost of train and Eurostar travel
- Paris Photo Entry Ticket
- Street Art Walking Tour
- Travel insurance
- 3 Day Metro Pass in Paris (Zones 1 – 3)
- Visit to Musee d’Art de Paris
- 1 Hour Return Boat Cruise on River Seine
- Visit to Eiffel Tower
If you require financial support, please contact the trip leader Neil Shirreff (neil.shirreff@mascallsacademy.org.uk) and include the student’s name, form, trip title and a brief reason for requiring assistance. They will then be able to provide information regarding any financial assistance that may be available to you.
Confirming your place: To request a place for your child, please complete the consent form using the link below by 3pm on Monday 9th February. This trip is likely to be oversubscribed and therefore the payment details will not appear on your child’s Scopay account until their place is confirmed by email. A £75 deposit payment will then be required by Thursday 12th March. Please note that no monies can be refunded unless cancellation is made by the school. If allocated a place on the trip you are bound by the terms and conditions of the travel company
